STRONG series one color Infrared Pyrometer (also called monochromatic infrared pyrometer) determine the object temperature by receiving the sum of the narrow-band radiation energy emitted by the object. It uses advanced software and hardware design, with ultra-wide dynamic range and high stability.
To use one-color infrared pyrometer (Infrared Thermometer), the measured area of the target should be large enough (it can fully fill the target field of view) , measured object surface should be relatively flat (not curved), measurement direction should less than 30 degrees, and the chemical and physical state of the measured object surface should be stable (not in the process of oxidation, gasification or liquefaction) , the optical channel should with less dust and without blocking and attenuation. When the background temperature is higher than the measured temperature , the temperature can also be measured in the one color mode, which is better than 2-color pyrometer.
Changes in emissivity, lens contamination, and the effects of background radiation are related to the choice of wavelength. Choose special wavelength range can enable the one color pyrometer overcome the interference of transmission medium as much as possible. Such as the influence of water vapor, various gases and other substances. Choose short wavelength can minimize the influence of emissivity. Thus suitable emissivity coefficient can improve Infrared Thermometer Accuracy.
